Other conditions were chronic alcoholism, syphilitic aortitis and possble lung tumor. He was widowed. He had been a restaurant chef. Born Lands County, Kansas, 1 Oct 1895, to John H. Jones and Bertha Ashley. He had served in World War I. His sister, Helen Harper, of Box 50, Coffeyville, Kansas, was the informant. Buried Veterans National Cemetery, Jefferson Barracks, MO on Aug 10th.
