CARROLLTON - Mrs. Minnie Allen Roark, widow of Earl B. Roark, died this morning in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
A native of Carrollton, she was born March 8, 1883, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Allen.
Mrs. Roark is survived by a niece and nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Hubbard, who will be here for the funeral. Mr. Roark, a former employee of the Chicago Tribune, died in 1956 and the Roarks only son, Edward, died in Feb 1955.
The body will be brought to the Simpson Funeral Home, here, where friends my call after 8 pm Wednesday.
Funeral rites will be conducted at 10 am Thursday in the funeral home by the Rev. Charles Fradenburgh, pastor of the Carrollton Methodist Church. Burial will be in Carrollton City Cemetery.
