Was your Leonard West married to Phoebe Morgan? Was he buried in the West Family graveyard on the Flowers farm in Logan Co. KY

I descend from the James West who married Susannah Morgan Feb 9, 1808 in Logan Co. Ky. Susannah was the daughter of Jeremiah Morgan and his first cousin, Mary Morgan. This Mary Morgan's sister was Phoebe Morgan who married Leonard West. Mary & Phoebe's parents were John Morgan and Martha Settle.
[There is no indication that James & Susannah had children - he died early 1810]

There was another James West "in the neighborhood of Logan Co., KY" who married
Mary Mourning Howard in Logan Co. Apr 30, 1807. This James was born Aug 27, 1772 and d. 1884. Since he was 35 when he married Mary Mourning Howard, he was probably married before.

To further complicate matters, next appears the Fike gang.

After Susannah Morgan West was widowed about 1810, she married widower Elijah Fike in 1920.

As well, her mother Mary Morgan Morgan was widowed in 1795 and married John Fike. They had a son, James Fike.

These Wests/Morgans/Fikes are driving me up a wall. Where did they become so intwined. So many times, in my Logan Co. Records book, where there's a West, you'll find a Fike!
