Samuel and Abigail are credited with the births of two children in the Killingworth vital records, that seem to instead belong to Samuel's second wife, Elizabeth. There is a death for Abigail, wife of Samuell, 6 Nov 1735. Then a marriage of Samuel to Elizabeth Benton, 26 Jan 1736/7.
Yet these two children are recorded like this:
Hulda, dau of Samuel & Abigail was b. 1 Jan 1737/8
Bela, son of Samuel & Abigail was born 14 Aug 1740 and died 26 Aug 1740.
There would seem to be an error in the records and these last two children's mother was Elizabeth.
