According to
The New York Genealogical and Biographical Record, 1876-1878, digitized on MyHeritage.com
this Benjamin settled in Andover, CT where he married into the Hutchinson family. His only child said to be John Hutchinson Buell, who was engaged in the Rev War at Bunker Hill and rose to the rank of Major. Benjamin had a second marriage to Sybil, daughter of William Buell of Marlboro, CT. There were three sons and three daughters. He married a third time to Abigail Bartlett by whom he had two more daughters. Benjamin was a magistrate in the town of Hebron, Tolland Co, and several times a member of the legislature. Died 11 May 1810.
The above article has several errors. The first wife of Benjamin Buell was Mary Sprague - they were married 4 Jul 1751 in Hebron Twp, Tolland, CT. They did have one son, John Hutchinson Buell, before Mary died in 1753. Benjamin married second to Sybil Buell, 27 Jun 1754 - there were seven children, Mary, Aaron, Levi, Sybil, Clara, Anna, and Benjamin. He did marry third to Abigail Bartlett, 24 Nov 1774 and there were two children, a boy and a girl, both died as infants.
