Mrs. Tabitha Jane Mims Johnson, 75, died at local hospital Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Services were held at Walnut Creek Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock, conducted by Rev. T. R. Greenwood; Spigener Brown Service in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were: Lawrence Bates, Sanford Davis, Carl Nelson, Jimmy Giles, Lallie Bates, Donald Baker. Flower Ladies - Fds. Ruby Thrash, Louise Easterling, ruby Duke, Olene Davis, Mabel Jean Bates, Doris Giles, Geraldine Nelson, Bobbye Minor, Ann Baker, Euna Higgins, Myrtice Enfinger, Kay Kelley
Three sons survive - W. G., Euell, and Willie T. Johnson, Clanton; sister, Mrs. Mahala Maddox of Clanton, Rte 1; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Native of Chilton County, she was a daughter of John Mims and Penelope (Pernie) Mims.
