MRS. SARAH Z. COX DIED
Mrs. Sarah Z. Cox, age 72 years, wife of Rev. W. S. Cox, of Fairview, died last Wednesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. M. Poole, in Clanton. Mrs. Cox suffered a stroke of paralysis several days before her death. Burial was at Concord Church east of Clanton Thursday afternoon with Martin in charge. The funeral was conducted by Rev. W. P. Lowery, assisted by Rev. S. J. Ezell & Rev. M. J. Parish.
Mrs. Cox is survived by her husband, Rev. W. S. Cox; six sons, C. B. Cox, Sam,Joe, Clarence, John & Williams; two daughters, Mrs. W. M. Poole and Mrs. Jim Roper.
She was a daughter of the late John J. McKee and is survived by two brothers, Jonah and Tom McKee, and one sister, Mrs. M. J. Parish.
