LUTHER TRAYWICK DIED
Luther Traywick, age 55, died at the residence, Clanton Rte. 3, Friday afternoon, September 25th at 6:10 pm. Services were held at Shiloh, Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock, conducted by Rev. J. I. Bice, Rev. Elba Deason and Rev. Bill Cox: Spigener directing. Pallbearers were: Carol L. Owen, Carl Culp, Hershell H. Wright, Robert & Jim Traywick.
The wife, Mrs. Zora Durbin Traywick, survives, as well as one daughter, Miss Mary Lou Traywick of Route 3; three brothers - H. L. Traywick of Maplesville; L. L. Traywick of Clanton, and A. L. Traywick of Sylacauga: five sisters - Mrs. W. E. Owen, Mrs. R. L. Culp, Mrs. M. L. Brown, Mrs. J. C. Bice, Mrs. J. E. Wright, and Mrs. Billie Carter, all of Clanton and routes.
The son of John T. Traywick and Mary McKee Traywick, Luther Traywick was a native of Chilton County and spent his entire life here.
