William's Missouri Death Certificate, #39480, states that he died in the Kansas City General Hospital of bronchial Asthma [No doubt from mining coal & working in a rock quarry with all the dust!]. He is listed as divorced although his wife Bessie did not marry again until 1940. He wa born 9 Nov 1874 in Jewel Co, Kansas. His father was Henry Comstock, b. Virginia and his mother Mary Elizabeth Burton, born Virginia.. The data seems to have been given by hospital personnel. The body was taken to Lexington MO for burial.
