It was part of a 300 acre State grant registered in DB 10 at page 523 to Jeremiah Malone on 4 Nov 1784, who conveyed it on 5 Feb 1787 to Ezekiel Philips dec'd [11.021], and this Grantor inherited it as the only heir.
