Doct Kenzie Routh was born in Sevier Co., Tenn., Nov 18, 1811,
United with the Baptist Church in 1827 of which he was an
exemplary deacon. He graduated in medicine in the University of
Louisville in 1851, was a Past Master of the Masonic Order and a
member of various temperance and charitable societies. He died
as he lived fully trusting in the merits of a crucified
redeemer.
