James Haydon

Settled in Lexington KY in 1779.
Order Book 1, 1830 p.284 of Franklin County, KY states "Monday Feb 17, 1834, James Haydon came into court and proved that he was a soldier of the American Revolution."
He enlisted in the army at age 14. Served from 1790 to 1796 from Lexington as an Indian spy and ranger under Capts. Robert Patterson, Wm McConnell and Wm Steele, Col. John and Levi Todd and General George Rogers Clark.
