Mrs. Catherine Ann Burks, 92, dies in Paris, Monday
Mrs. Catherine Ann Burks, who formerly lived in Centralia, died Monday evening April 23rd, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ed Murphy, in Paris. Death came after several months illness. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Speed & Blakey Funeral Home and burial was in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Paris. Survivors besides Mrs. Murphy are four daughters: Mrs. Chester Smith, near Paris; Mrs. Ralph Poteet, Miami, Fla.; Mrs. G. B. Jenson, Palm Beach, Fla.; and Mrs. Otto Nelson, Live Oak, Fla.. One son, H. H. Burks, Hallsville.
