John Watlington
(1794 - )
At least one database lists Jonathan Brooks Watlington as a son of Edward, but there are two reasons that's not likely. Jonathan was born prior to the marriage of Edward to Nancy Boyd. Edward's wife was Mary Brookes, who had a brother and grandfather both named Jonathan.
I believe this John is more likely as a son of Edward & Nancy. He shares an occupation with John Scott, who I believe was married to Mary Watlington, likely a daughter of Edward. He has also named a son Edward R. Watlington.
