12 Feb 1747/8 Richard Hayes, probably named for his grandfather Richard Dennis, sold 100 acres which belonged to his father William Hayes, on Cellar Fork, to his uncle Richard Dennis.
Mary Hayes was head of household in Amelia Co, 1782. Her will in Amelia Co, dated 15 Jan 1787, proved 23 Apr 1789, names brothers Henry, James, and Richard Hayes.
