Job's parents are thought to have been Valentine Martin and Jane Bridgewater. I have no proof.

There may have been other children, but births and baptisms of four are found in The Douglas Register.

Job is said to have died about 1803 in Surry Co, NC. Given the number of Job Martins, I would hesitate to attach this date. However, in Surry Co in 1800, there was a "Jobe" Martin Sr who was over age 45, as was his spouse.
