Mary Louise "Mary Lou" Carroll White, beloved mother, passed away Sunday, Nov. 4, 2007.
Graveside service: 3 p.m. Saturday in Bourland Cemetery in Keller.

She was born Oct. 17, 1924, in El Paso to Blanche Beazley and James Levi Carroll. Mary Lou was raised in Fort Worth. Her family moved to Tulsa before she graduated from high school, but upon graduating, Mary Lou moved back on her own to her "home," Fort Worth. She married Charles M. White in 1950. After making a home in several different cities around the U.S., Mary Lou and Charlie settled in Houston in 1968.
She was a wonderful mother, friend and volunteer. She received commendations for her work at the various schools attended by her children. She loved travel, the beach and animals of all types, and instilled these loves in her children. She also passed on her creativity and expertise in cooking to her children.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; sister, Martha; and her husband, Charles.
Survivors: Her daughter, Ruth Ann White; son, William Charles White and his wife, Cynthia D. Villarreal White; and granddaughter, Zoe Bella White.
