T. F. Dewey was dead of influenza when the doctor arrived, 2 Dec 1918, Ash Hill, Butler Co, MO. He was born 16 Sep 1844 in Indiana and was a farmer, widowed. His father was Wm Dewey; his mother Lucy ?Qualls. Andy Hill was the informant. He was buried Green Hill Cemetery on Dec 4th.

Apparently Theodore and Rachel had a son. There is an Arizona Death Certificate #3067 for William Dheadore Dewey, who died (cause unreadable) in the Maricopa County General Hospial, Phoenix, AZ on 27 Apr 1960. His residence was 4912 E. Tonto, Phoenix. He was born 12 Jul 1880 in Ohio and was a Farmer. His spouse was deceased. Father is listed as "James Thomas" - perhaps a hint to a stepfather. Mother was Rachel Christopher. The informant was Thomas H. Dewey of Phoenix. Buried on april 30th, Greenwood Memorial Park, Phoenix.
