Individual Details
Jacob Flynn
(Ca 1785 - 23 Nov 1836)
The fanciful story about the Leesville Indian Massacre that occurred 1812 or 1815, depending on which story you read, may be about this Jacob. It has been attached to the uncle Jacob even though the boy Jacob was said to be a youth. If indeed the story belongs to this Jacob, son of George, then the scalped boy Josiah, would have also been George's son. See the uncle Jacob Flinn's notes for the story.
Jacob married Mary "Polly" Robinett. They are said to have had nine children: Katharine, Aaron, George, Henry, Elanor, Hezekiah, Isaac, Nancy, and James.
