Deaths
Died, at her home, in this city, February 8, 1898, of a complication of diseases, Mrs. Adelaide Wilson, aged 70 years.
Mrs. Wilson had been very ill for the past five months, and several times within those months her life had been despaired of. She suffered very much in her illness and every effort was made to save life. At times she appeared to be improved and hoped for recovery, but the disease had too firmly fastened its hold upon her and at ten o'clock Tuesday morning she breathed her last.
Mrs. Wilson was the widow of Major Benj. H. Wilson, who died many years ago. She was the mother of Mr. Russell Wilson, of this city.
Funeral services were held at the family residence, Wednesday afternoon, Elder G.M. Goode officiating. A large concourse of friends followed her body to its last resting place in Machpelah.

Buried Machpelah Cemetery, Lexington, Lafayette Co, MO.
