The Poindexter book says that Jane married Job Martin. The family moved to Kentucky. I believe this is wrong unless there were two Scott ladies that married a Job Martin. Certainly there were multiple Job Martins.

In the 1850 census, Knox Co KY, living next door to Valentine Martin who married Jane's niece Ann R. Scott, is a Job Martin married to a Malinda and she was age 41 or born 1809 and most probably another niece. Ann was a daughter of Jane's brother Francis, and I suspected Malinda was another daughter of Francis. If this is the same person, her mother would have been about 49 at her birth - a little improbable. However, most trees include her here.
And there is this: In the pension records, on 13 Feb 1822, living in Daniel's home were Anny about age 60 and a daughter Melinda, age 12. All the other children had left home and were self-supporting.
