It is very puzzling that the will of Isaac Adamson, dated 7 Jan 1867, and proved on 10 Apr 1878, doesn't mention any son named Simon or Patrick. He states that son Enos had received all of his legacy, son William had received part of his but is to receive a lump sum, and the residue after sale of his property or death of wife was to be divided equally between William, Havilah and Thomas (these three names stated twice in the will). I suspect an error in the will - that perhaps the last three should have been Simon, Havilah and Thomas. Or was Simon a nephew, not a son?
