Isaac had four sons by his first wife Lydia Mendenhall. He married (2) Hannah Mills, 10 Jan 1798, at the Lost Creek Monthly Meeting in Jefferson Co, TN. Isaac and Hannah had eight children. On 8 Dec 1815, in Knoxville, TN, Isaac married for a third time to the widow Mary (Stanley) Underwood - they had five children.
Isaac married Mary Underwood on November 08, 1815 and was disowned on November 30, 1815 for "marrying contray to disicipline".
The sons of Lydia - Jesse, Elisha, Aaron, and Jonathan all moved to Tennessee, Indiana, and finally Iowa. Their half-brother Henry, also was in Jasper Co Iowa by 1850.
