I wonder if the following is William Haden's first wife - Jane Welch Haden. She would have been deceased by 1842, since he married again in 1838 (unless there was a divorce) but that item might have been omitted from the abstract. The daughter was also called Jane after she married. William Haden had as his ward an Orton child who was mentally defective. FamilySearch also has a Mary Welch as William's first wife.

The digitized version of the will gives to Jane Haden one dollar on the date above. It does not specify her relationship. Elizabeth Orton, named specifically as a daughter, received the same - one dollar. Daughter, Isabell received a bed and its furniture.
