George is not seem in most of the Haden research. However at least two censuses suggest that Richmond had five sons by Sarah Haden. Richmond Pearson mentioned a child of his deceased son George, in his will of 1819 - if the child survived, $500 was left in the hands of Richmond's son, Jesse, to be used for its education and support. At least two of the sons of Eliza were not of lawful age at the time of Richmond's death - it's most likely George was a full brother to Jesse and son of Sarah Haden.

In the book Biographical History of North Carolina from Colonial Times to the Present, [edited by Leonard Charles Van Noppen, published 1906. Original from the New York Public Library digitized Sep 15, 2005] four children are listed for wife Sarah, six for Eliza - George omitted altogether.
