Report of the First Reunion of the Association of Descendants of Andrew Ward, 1905. states that Dr. Levi Ward was of Rochester, NY and had thirteen children and 56 grandchildren.
He was one of the village fathers of Rochester. Grandfather of Henry Ward, he was a businessman and philanthropist who founded the Bank of Rochester and the Athanaeum. He died aged 90 years. He is buried Mount Hope Cemetery, Rochester, Monroe Co, NY
