Anna, [name seen sometimes as Rose but I have no idea why], was the daughter of Robert White of Messing, Essex, England. Her baptism is recorded in the Messing Parish Register, 13 Jul 1600. Her mother was Bridget Allgar, daughter of William Allgar of Shalford, Essex; she was baptized at Shalford, 11 Mar 1562. Robert White died in 1617.. Anna is mentioned in her father's will.

27 May, 1617. Eldest daughter Sarah, wife of James Bowtell of little Salinge. Daughter Marie wife of Joseph Lummis of Branetree, Daughter Elizabeth, wife of Willm Goodinge of Bockinge. Son Nathaniel White. Daughter Bridgett White, Anna White; son John White - all unmarried and to receive bequest at their marriages which must have approval of their mother Bridget and the sons in law, Joseph Lummys and William Goodinge. Servants, Ralph Bett [who was also a kinsman] and Joseph Digbie received bequests. Executors to be wife and son Daniel White [possibly the eldest son]. Supervisors to be sons in law, Joseph Lumys [Loomis] and Willm Goodinge. Signed in presence of John Christmas and Willm Levett. Probate granted Jun 1617.
