Jane first married Rev. James Delaplane. They had two children. She later married Rev. James Buck who was pastor of the Soldiers' Home and an Episcopal Church.

St. Thomas' Protestant Episcopal Church. In 1835, St. Thomas' P. E. Church, Hancock was created. At a meeting of the Discesan Convention a petition from the minister, wardens, and vestry of the church was received, asking that they be recognized as a parish. It was referred to a committee, which reported that Jacob Brosius, Cromwell Orrick, Kelly Thomas, Dr. S. I. Gregory, John Breathed, Dr. R. G. Belt, Isaac Breathed, and George Thomas, and others associated with them, be permitted to form themselves into an Episcopal congregation by the name of St. Thomas' Church. The Rev. J. Delaplane, rector, reported that he entered on this field of labor Aug 23, 1834. The erection of a church had been commenced, and he reported thirty communicants.

Rev. John Delaplane "late rector of St. Mark's Parish, Frederick County" died 11 Oct 1841.

Mrs. Jane B. Buck, widow of Rev. John Delaplane, and wife of Rev. James A. Buck, died 24 Aug 1847 in her 30th year.

In 1850, a daughter appeared to be living with her parents, because in their household was a girl, Frances Delaplain, age 11. By 1860, Annie Delaplane, age 20, was living with her aunt Elizabeth Snodgrass. I suspect she was the only survivor of this family.
