William Warren Irwin died 8 Jan 1945 at 2:15 pm from a skull fracture due to train-auto collision, Kellogg, Jasper Co, Iowa. The accident occurred at a railroad crossing - his car hit by fast train resulting in multiple skell fractures. His residence was RR #1, Gilman, Jasper Co. where he had lived for 15 years. He was a veteran of WW I. He was married to Steena Irwin. He was born 24 Nov 1889 in Rushville, IL and was a farmer. His father was William Harrison Irwin; his mother Cornelia Clements, both born in Illinois. Ellen Louis Irwin of Gilman was the informant. Buried Jan 11, Our Silent City Cemetery near Kellogg.
