The daughter Elizabeth was likely born just before her father's death as is proved by the following entry in St. Peter's Parish Register. Elizabeth daughter of Theodrick and Elizabeth Carter born August 22nd. baptized September 26, 1736. He wrote his will in July of 1736 and it was presented in court April, 1737. As St. Peter's Parish is in New Kent County it may be that Elizabeth Carter came from there. Elizabeth leaves a mare foal or filly to her grandson Cuthbert Webb. Or Elizabeth may have been of Henrico for the Rector of St. Peter's Parish also conducted services in Henrico and a number of births of Henrico children are recorded in St. Peter's Parish Register. . .
