Buried Highland Park Cemetery, 22 Mar 1942 - Kirksville, Adair Co, MO. Birth is listed as 20 March 1855, but she was older than that in the earlier censuses which are more likely correct.
Also buried Highland Park is Preston Logston, b. 15 Sep 1850, d. 19 Aug 1933 - said to be a son of Remond Logston and Emilee Huston.

Kittie Cross Services Set For Thursday
Kittie Wells Cross, 92, of 520 S. First died 7:25 Monday evening in a Kirksville hospital where she had been a patient since April 7. She had been in failing health the past two years.
Born in Putnam County on Feb. 21, 1881, she was the daughter of Preston and Martha Boler Logston. In 1900 she was married to David Carl Cason and to this union four children were born. Later she married Arley B. Cross who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were one son in 1929, one grandson in 1968 and three sisters.
Surviving are three daughters, Alma Cassady of 520 S. First; Mrs. Felix (Marilyn) Flores of Chicago, Ill. and Doris Ward of 516 S. Main; two granddaughters, Mrs. Murel (Betty) Rogers of Dunedin, Fla. and Delores Jones of 1416 E. Alexander; one grandson, Michael Flowers of Chicago, Ill.; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and two brothers, Perry Logston of Kirksville and Joseph Logston of Waterloo, Ia.
Mrs. Cross had been a resident of Kirksville for 65 years.
She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the chapel of the Foster Memorial Home. The Rev. William Davidson, pastor of the First Christian Church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Highland Park cemetery.

Services For A.P. Logston To Be Friday
Albert Perry Logston, 93, of 417 W. Filmore died Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 in a Kirksville hospital where he had been a patient since Sept. 10.
Born Mar. 30, 1883 in Queen City, he was the son of Press and Mather Brewer Logston. On Dec. 16, 1907 in Kirksville, he married Katie Hickman who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were three sisters and one step-grandchild.
Surviving are one brother, Joe Logston of Waterloo, Iowa and several nieces and cousins in the Kirksville area.
Mr. Logston was reared in the Queen City community where he received his education. In 1911 he moved to Waterloo, Iowa where he operated a coal yard. Later he was employed by Hawkeye Steel. In 1971 he moved to Kirksville.
Graveside services will be held Friday at two o'clock in Highland Park cemetery. The Rev. Archie Cooper will conduct the services.
The body is at the Johnson Funeral Home where it will remain until service time.
