SIR MARMADUKE BECKWITH
born 1687 Aldsborough, Yorkshire ENG, son of Sir Roger BECKWITH and Elizabeth JENNINGS. He died 1780. Married 1716 to Elizabeth (BROCKENBROUGH) DICKERSON, daughter of William BROCKENBROUGH and Mary NEWMAN. She was the widow of Thomas DICKERSON who died 1714/15. Marmaduke BECKWITH was grandson of Sir Edmund JENNINGS and Margaret BARKHAM.

BARNES, only child of Capt. Richard BARNES and Frances INGO. He was
born c1723, died 1767.
5. Mary BECKWITH born 12 June 1727, died 3 Dec 1755. Married c1750 to
Lawrence BUTLER. He died by 4 June 1764 when Roger BECKWITH gave bond
in Richmond County as guardian of Beckwith BUTLER, orphan of Lawrence
Butler, deceased. Mary is buried at Bleak Hill, Westmoreland Co. VA.
