Mormon Pioneer.
Solomon initially emigrated in the David Evans Company, but later he participated as a teamster in the Daniel Thompson company of 1866. Solomon's brother, Justin, who was returning home from a mission, traveled in this same company, in Solomon's wagon for a time.

I found a Solomon, age 14, born Iowa, doing farm labor in the household of Charles A. Terry in 1860 - but his name was written as Solomon Wicksen. I believe this one is more likely the correct Solomon, although the birthplace is wrong.

It is possible that young Solomon was hiring out and counted both by his father and his employer.

By 1880 he was in Beaver County, Utah with two of his wives and seven of his children.

Solomon had at least three wives and perhaps as many as 23 children.
Solomon married Penelope Bishop, 8 Oct 1869, Salt Lake - she was the mother of the Solomon D., age 9, listed with wife Lois in 1880.
He married Amanda Caroline DeSpain, 24 Jun 1872.
He married Lois Orenia Earl, about 1875, Pine Valley, Washington Co, Utah.

Solomon is buried Brigham City Cemetery, Box Elder Co, Utah
