Although a later census claims Emily was born in October of 1860 - she was already two years old in 1860.

Emily's parents were Ellis and Elizabeth Webb. The 1880 census states that her father was born in Alabama, her mother in Tennessee. Her mother Elizabeth Webb, age 61, was living with Emily & Harvey. "Emma" was listed as wife of Harvey A. Comstock in 1910 - they had been married 30 years and had 9 children, 6 of whom were living in 1910.
