Thomas E. Proctor
(Bet 1810 and 1820 - )
The Blakey Book assigned a birth year of about 1792 for the son of Maj Thomas Proctor, but I don't believe the Blakey book had much correct about the Thomas Proctors. For one thing it assumed all the children were those of Sally Haden's which subsequent documents show was not possible.

1840 Logan Co KY Census has three Thomas Proctors:
Thomas E., living alone, age 20-30 [son named in the Will of Maj. Thomas Proctor]
Thomas, living along age 70-80 [Maj. Thomas Proctor]
Thomas L. S. with 1m -5, 2m 30-40 [he was about 31], 1f -5, and 1f 20-30. Except for the extra grown male in the household, this census does match the family of Thomas L. S. Proctor still living in Logan Co in 1850. Thomas L. S. was the son of Benjamin Proctor.

p.185 Thomas E. Proctor appointed Constable...security with Ben Proctor
Thomas E., son was to receive two slaves, a horse and saddle, from the Will of his father probated 28 Jun 1841. He was also named Executor along with Hiram Mitchell, a brother-in-law. Thomas E. is grouped near the end of the Will, along with the two daughters born of Rebecca Maxwell. These three were also to divide any residual part of the estate, also perhaps indicating they were Rebecca's children and the youngest.

p.208 On the motion of the executors of Thomas Proctor Dec'd ordered that Wm McCutcheon, Lewis Cloud, Samuel S. Perkins & John McCutcheon or any three of them...appraise goods and chattels of decedent. Hiram Mitchell, Thomas E. Proctor - Executors.
25 March 1842
p.259 Thomas E. Proctor resigned as constable of Logan County.
A Thomas Proctor married Jane Littlejohn, 28 Dec 1846, Logan Co. This seems to be the only possible candidate for the groom. I cannot find Thomas E. in the 1850 census. There are a couple of Thomas Proctors, one a Thos. E. Proctor living in Cooper Co MO in 1850 - neither had a spouse and both were in their 20's, or born after 1820.
