27 Feb 1924. Jefferson C. Mabry of Albia, Iowa applied for a passport for a trip to Europe. He stated he was born in Carroll Co, VA on 31 Mar 1869. His father, James A. Mabry, deceased, was born in Floyd Co, VA. Mabry was an Attorney and it was his intention to visit Italy, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Holland, Norway, the British Isles, Sweden, Denmark & Germany. He was scheduled to sail on the "Dullio" from New York on May 1, 1924. He was 5 feet, 8 1/2 inches tall, had a broad forehead, blue eyes, gray hair, an oval shaped face and fair complexion. His picture was attached.

Born 2 Jan 1834, Carel (sic - Carroll) Co., Virginia. He was a retired farmer. Parents named as Joseph Mabry and Susana Thompson, both born in Virginia. J. C. Mabry of Alba, Iowa, was the informant. He was buried Riley Cemetery on June 1st.
