The funeral of Charles B. Mabry, 78, who died from heart trouble on April 11 at his home in St. Mary's Township, was held in the Beatly Baptist church on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clok, Elder C. E. Webb conducting the services. Entombment in Rest Haven Abbey at Carthage.
Mr. Mabry, son of Joseph and Susie (Thompson) Mabry was born in Hillsville, Virginia, January 20, 1851, but had spent most of his life in Hancock county.
He was the father of seventeen children, twelve of whom with the widow, survive.
