We are sorry to hear of the death of Comer Bean, which occurred last Wednesday night. Burial was in the Double Springs cemetery by the side of his wife, whose death occurred about seven years ago. He leaves 4 children: 2 girls, Ora Mae and Freeda; and 2 boys, Jarvis and Donald.
He had been an invalid for 5 years.

Comer Bean, 47, died at his home near Cookeville Thursday after an illness of several years.
He was a native of Putnam, and was a member of the Methodist church and the Cumberland Presbyterian Church since the age of 16.
Funeral services were conducted Friday.
