Rev. Ephraim married Elizabeth Byers about 1796. She was born 15 Sep 1769 and died 21 Jul 1852. They are buried in the J. V. Walker Cemetery outside Russellville, Logan Co KY. Stone placed by youngest son, F. E. Ewing.

Children listed in McLean information are John [1791-1830 in Illinois], William, Charles, Finis Ewing McLean [1806-1881] who married Lucy Gray, Susanna Howard McLean [1803-1854] who married James V. Walker, and Ann [1811-1870] who married John Roach [This marriage recorded as Pamelia A. R. McLean to John Roach on 16 Dec 1833, Logan Co MB 1, p.106].

24 Dec 1812 To son John, 1/4 proceeds from sale of land, slave, etc.; William, son 1/4 land, slave, etc.; Charles, son 1/4 land, slave, etc. To other children and Eliza, eife, 1/4 land; rest of unnamed land to wife for lifetime then to divided equally among the other children at age 21 or marriage. Codicil 19 Jan 1813 added another tract to be sold and divided into 4 parts. [Wit to codicil: W. T.
