Mary "Polly" Graves
(15 Jan 1792 - 3 Feb 1846)
Married James Mebane on 17 Jan 1833, as his second wife. Polly was apparently unmarried at the time her father died and she received the home plantation and the mill, after the death/remarriage of his wife, named as Elizabeth Graves in the will. This database suggests that all the children were Nancy Slade's and that John Herndon Graves married Elizabeth Coleman in his old age, which seems to be accurate.
Mary died without issue. She was buried in the Graves Family Cemetery on the land of her brother Elijah. James Mebane survived her and married a third time. There were no children.
