Elizabeth "Betsy" Kellar

Betsy married Robert Carey, Dec 1806, Jessamine Co KY. She had had died bef 1828. He married 2nd to her brother's widow, Mary Magdalene (Rice) Kellar.
Elizabeth was not named in her father's will, dated 8 Sep 1820. He stated he had ten children, but named only nine. However, in later documents it is obvious that there was a daughter Elizabety "Betsy".
Will Book C, p.194 ..Jacob Kellar, as executor of his father's estate, made report in 1821 that he had paid William Trotter, Robert Carey (husband of daughter Elizabeth who was omitted from the will), Thomas Hayden, John Kellar & Jacob Fry - $100 each.
And at the estate sale, 16 Nov 1824, Robert Carey bought the slave, Shadrick for $526.50. Shadrick had been listed in John Kellar's will as one of his eleven slaves.
