She was the 2nd child born to this mother. Mrs. Menna Hays, age 87, swore that she was at least 28 years older than Ernestine and had knowledge of her birth. Signed 18 March 1960. Engagement Announced.
Rogers, March 24. The announcement of the engagement of Miss Ernestine Musselman and Howell Hodges has just been made. The wedding will take place Sunday night at the home of the Bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Musselman.

Fayetteville, Mar 31 - Miss Ernestine Musselman and Howell Hodges, both of Rogers, were married Sunday at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Musselman, by Rev. T. E. McSpadden. Attendants were Mrs. Harold Applegate, matron of honor; Miss Thelma Bogan, maid of honor, and Harold Applegate, best man. Mr. and Mrs. Hodges left for a short wedding trip and after April will be at home in Rogers.

The 1930 census gives Earnestine's husband as Howel Hodges. They had married about 1921 but had no children.

Ernestine Hodges.
Ernestine Hodges, 505 East Ninth, died at Holdenville General Hospital Wednesday at the age of 82. She was born in Rogers, Ark., July 3, 1901. She came to Holdenville after the death of her husband and made her home with her sister. Her husband, Hal Hodges, preceded her in death, Feb 26, 1955.
Survivors are one sister, Geraldine Stanford of the home; two nephews, Charles Stanford, Houston, TX and John Stanford of Holdenville.
Gravesite rites will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Holdenville cemetery with Rev. Richard Ayers officiating.
