John, Samuel, & Joseph Walters were also all listed in this Regt. He was on the 1835 Tax List in Attala Co MS. By 1839 he was on the tax list for Nagadoches Co TX which became Smith Co. He is on the 1846 Texas Voter's Poll, in Smith Co.
