Subsequent records of a Joseph Fox in Spotsylvania Co do not appear until many years later and are no doubt those of his nephew Joseph, son of Thomas.
A patent in CAVALIERS, Vol 3, p.361, does possibly mention the land of a Joseph Fox in Hanover Co. 27 Sep 1729 Benjamin Henson, 400 acres Hanover Co adj William Sacon, Mrs. Agnes Fox, Joseph Fox, New Market line, & land of John Daniel on New Market Mill path. PB 13, p.412
[I have no idea who the widow Agnes Fox might be, nor if these records are the same Joseph Fox.]
