Jimmy divorced Estelle - the only other wife I knew anything about was Judy Bond. However I found in the Texas Marriage Index, 1966-2002 - the following. A James F. Pippin Jr., age 43, married Edith C. Lester, age 31, at Hill County, TX on 31 Aug 1971. The age and name fit and this marriage was about two years before the marriage to Judy Bond. I suspect he was married three times.

At the time of Jim's death, his son Kevin and wife Goodie lived in Durant OK. Three grandchildren were named in the Funeral Bulletin, none living with their fathers: Kory & Kasha Pippin of Lewisville, TX; Kyle of Waco, TX.

Died in hospital from massive heart attack. Burial at Highland Cemetery, Durant, OK. His gravesite is listed in the database of U. S. Veterans for his military service in WW II
