Individual Details

Henry McCarver "Mack" Pippin

(19 Dec 1872 - Jul 1955)

Called "Carver" as a 9-year-old in 1880.

His description on his World War I Draft Registration Card states that he was of medium height, medium build, brown eyes and hair. He was living outside of Bonham, Fannin Co TX; a farmer. Nearest relative was his wife, Mary Jane Pippin.

Mack and his wife and 7 of the 10 children were living in Enumeration District #34 in Fannin Co TX in 1920. The two youngest children were born in Texas so they apparently moved about 1910. Their oldest son and his family lived next door.
The 1910 Fannin Co Census shows that the younger 5 all born in Texas. If this is so, they came about 1904. Elbert was the youngest in 1910; Mother stated that she had 9 children, 8 living.
