Mrs. Judeth Hubble, Sprinfield, Missouri.
My grandfather Joel Henry Haden, or often addressed as Joel Harris a nickname (Harris was his mother's name). He organized the first church in Springfield, The Christian church and his picture is hanging in the church to this day as a monumnet to his name, a gift to the church from myself and on every Christmas I am reminded of it by some little token of love. During the Civil War,we lost all our old records. I am now in my 86th year. I enjoy what youhave to say about the Haden family and as soon as the weather gets nice I will go to my sisters and get you some records.
