Mary Pike

Some have confused this Mary with the daughter of Nathan Pike & Rachel Maudlin who was born in 1790 and married to William Edgerton. They are very different ladies.
FamilySearch trees have given this Mary a marriage to John Grimes, 15 Jun 1811 in Stokes, NC - this seems late for a marriage and I'm not sure the Pikes were in Stokes for this marriage to take place.
John Grimes was born 16 Aug 1779 in Rowan, NC and died 23 Oct 1855 in Hendricks, IN. He is buried Spring Friends Cemetery, They are in the 1850 census in Franklin, Hendricks, IN with their youngest child William and Mary can be found living with William in 1860 in Hendricks. A burial date of 19 Oct 1867 in Parke Co, IN is on FamilySearch - I cannot confirm.
