Individual Details
William Williams
(14 Jun 1770 - Bef Feb 1835)
William was disowned from the Quaker monthly meeting for marrying out of unity, 1795.
Craven Co NC Marriage Bond for William Williams and Rachel Nelson. 15 Nov 1794. Signed by Francis and Jeremiah James.
Although the Pike book states he died about 1860, a research at FamilySearch has posted a date of death as Feb. 1835, Dallas Co, AL. The same person has attributed an 1850 census to Rachel and she is there, age 76, b. NC, possibly living with a son-in-law, Wm. Rutledge - no other Williams in the household. She is listed a second time with Wm. N. Williams, age 45 and his family - again as age 76, b. NC.
