Henrico Feb Court 1757: Cuthbert Williamson, orphan of Cuthbert, chose William Price as his guardian. Edward Curd Jr. Security. [Edward Curd was probably Cuthbert's uncle and his father had married Elizabeth Curd. William Price may have been the William Price, who was a son of Daniel & Mary Hughes Price - he was about the right age, in the right place, etc.]

Cuthbert's first wife believed to be Obedience, possibly Obedience Price, but there is no proof. Their children were likely Elizabeth & Rebecca, and some suggest John because his marriage date of 1786 would seem to indicate he was born a few years before Cuthbert married Susanna White, 7 Sep 1772 in Charlotte Co VA.

An SAR Application on Ancestry has the following Rev War service for Cuthbert: Ensign in Capt. John Harvey's Company, Col. Holt Richardson's Virginia Regt. 1780-1781. References are NSDAR applications and perhaps a pension and The Old Free State by Landon Bell, Vol. II, p.377-8. Widow's Pension file is on Fold3, W4394. She applied 30 Nov 1838.
He is an accepted Patriot at NSDAR as well.
